Keep track of your social networks with this beautiful app
There are plenty of apps out there to help you keep in touch with your various social networks, but few bring them all together in a way that’s elegant, well-designed and easy to use. persona/ succeeds in doing this with aplomb. This free app will allow you to connect to Twitter, Facebook and your RSS feeds (Instagram and Tumblr connections are in-app purchases of £0.69/$0.99 apiece) and display updates and posts in a style not that dissimilar to Flipboard.
Where persona/ really earns its bread is in its simplicity; setting up your various social networks takes a few minutes, and once everything is done, posting tweets or a Facebook status is incredibly easy. The app’s UI is bright yet clean, with plenty of emphasis on typography and images; ideal for quickly catching up on the latest news. The ability to search for, and add, RSS feeds to the app is a real plus, making it a true all-rounder for anyone who’s worried about yet another download. All that’s really missing right now is a Retina display update for the new iPad.
persona/ strikes a perfect balance between simple design, great pricing and useful functionality.
