Assassin’s Creed Recollection

Assassin’s Creed Recollection

The battle between Templars and Assassins comes to the iPad

Presenting a whole new angle on the world of assassins, Assassin’s Creed Recollection is a card-based game where you must use strategy to gain a political advantage and defeat your enemies.

You use the in-app store to gather Memories, with each one unlocking a host of cards for you to deploy in the game, so much like the console original, the more you remember, the stronger you can become. In-game battles see you and your opponent trying to gain control of the centre of the screen, scoring points as each turn comes to an end if you have higher scoring cards, and therefore control.

There are three types of Memory or cards within the game: Agents, Sites and Actions. Each of these have their own strengths and weaknesses, and there are various types of each, certainly more than can ever be described here. The tutorial at the start of the story mode may intimidate you the first time you go through it, as there’s an incredible amount of subtleties to the game that will take time to understand. However, once the tutorial has finished and you head out on your own for the first time, you might be surprised at how much you’ve grasped.

The key to this game is patience on your part, as you move further into the game, everything becomes more powerful, and even on an iPad screen, power is fun to play with.
