Weather experts say the limit for making forecasts is between ten and 14 days. That’s good news to anyone using Week Weather which not only concentrates on a smaller timescale of seven days but presents the data in such a way that it makes it easier than any of its rival apps to see what the elements are set to throw at you in the days to follow.

The app presents the weather over seven columns for your current location, running the times down the side so you get a good idea of the forecasts throughout each day. You can slide up and down to contract or expand the data, and you can choose from the general forecast to specific information about the temperature, clouds, rain, wind and humidity.

By tapping on one of the blocks within a column, you get a comprehensive snapshot the data relating to that day and time period and, if you want to view the weather reports for another location, you just tap the + and enter a name. Sometimes the app is a little slow to respond to a tap but it’s a minor negative.

For overall, Week Weather is a brilliant offering. You can tailor it to suit the metrics you want and you can also alter the time period from 24-hour to 12-hour for easier viewing. More importantly, it appears to be accurate – certainly for the locations we looked at anyway.
