Learning Quest

Learning Quest

Can this app be the answer to getting ahead at work through specific skillset learning?

It’s understandable to be sceptical regarding the ‘extra learning’ market, simply because of the abundance of courses and lack of a unified curriculum. These worries, should you have them, shouldn’t prevent you from downloading Learning Quest, however.

The free Learning Journey element is actually a great way of getting to know your own skill set so you can make improvements, whether through the paid learning courses they offer, through any other company, or just by getting a few books from the library.

The app is very well laid out, and the instructions that guide you are in very simple language. A distinct lack of buzz words, jargon and general waffle is most welcome here. If you take the Learning Journey, you will find out more about your skills, and could then be in a position to do something about them. The clarity of this app may even make you purchase some courses through Learning Quest – a testament to the job they have done in constructing this app.

The other three main elements of the app are all in-app purchases under generic banners of Personal Development, Team Development and Leadership development. The packs are £3.99 each, and will give you the tools and techniques to improve those areas of your working life.

All in all, this a well made app that reversed our cynicism. That’s a tougher task than you may imagine, so it deserves some credit.

Rated 4 out of 5

A well constructed app with clear instructions, and it won’t cost you the Earth.
